New Arrivals Week!

Hey everyone, I just wanted to take this opportunity to usher in the week of NEW ARRIVALS! We've gotten some really cute new stuff in the store at Flyte, a lot of it from the Houston-based designers we're so proud to work with!

This post features a sample of the work of one of our new additions here at Flyte - Extraordinaire Studio. These are two girls with design and fashion in their hearts! We are so excited to have their designs in the store and hope you love them as much as we do.

Also we've got the new Spring/Summer Tees from favorite Moral Fabric. Once again, Bobby has come up with something incredible! Get these new Moral Fabric shirts while you can, because with designs like these they aren't likely to stick around for long.

And a few new jewelry pieces for men (or ladies if you like) from Duo Designs. Natural leathers mixed with rough metals, makes for interesting wear. Enjoy!

Flyte's Indie Bazaar!

Hey everyone,

This past Saturday Flyte Boutique hosted it's first annual Indie Bazaar here in the store.

We featured the work and talent of 9 Houston-area clothing designers, artists, jewelry artisans and musicians, and it was certainly an endeavour worth repeating!

The talented individuals who worked the Bazaar brought in droves of their new Spring and Summer merchandise and thrilled our customers with their respective talents! I know that several of Abstract Jewelry by Tee's brand new pieces flew out the door, along with brand new items from Teresa O'Connor of Lucky Tee's.

Flyte was also proud to feature the work of several new clothing designers - Self Apparel by Guli Essa and the designs of Extraordinaire Studio! Both garnered attention from our customers and visitors of the Bazaar for their unique and stylish artistic perspectives!

We're proud to add Self Apparel and Extraordinaire Studio as two new lines that will be available here at Flyte!

Spice up your home with our carnivorious terrariums.

Carnivorious Terrariums...who would have thought something so potentially creepy could be so amazingly cool??!

These terrariums features a variety of plants, several different species of the Venus Fly-Traps, along with various sundews, pitcher plants and more!

They make great conversation pieces and are sure to get your home some attention from guests.

They also make perfect gifts. I gave my sister one of our terrariums for her dorm room - my thinking being a college student probably needs some greenery in their place, plus...they might have flies zipping around. Style and function, all wrapped up in one pretty package.

We make new terrariums all of the time, from bowl terrariums, starters, to hanging terrariums. It's always fun to get your hands dirty from time-to-time and express an artistic view with a living medium.

New Originally Designed Jewelry!

Abstract Jewelry by Tee.

One of the things I love about Abstract Jewelry (besides being able to sit and talk with Tee for hours on end) is how it's constantly changing.

Her jewelry is all over the board in the most wonderful way.

From hip, urban influenced pieces you'd see in any hip-hop video, to more refined, delicate pieces you'd see on any red carpet, it's like Tee has an endless ability to recreate the line with each new piece - and I love it.

Check out some of these new pieces Tee just came out with, some with the Easter holiday in mind, but all perfect for wearing whenever you feel the need to be original.
